DNR Capital’s leadership in the Separately Managed Account (SMA) sector has been reaffirmed by being named SMA of the year at the Money Management Fund of the Year Awards.

DNR Capital’s Australian Equities High Conviction SMA won the award at the prestigious Money Management awards ceremony this week.

DNR Capital has been at the vanguard of advocacy and implementation of direct mandate solutions for investors for more than 15 years.

DNR Capital CEO Robert White noted that “the combination of strong investment performance and a stable team had contributed to the acknowledgement of DNR Capital’s pre-eminence in the SMA industry.”

White added “There is now a much wider awareness of SMAs than there has been in the past.

We think this flows from the increasing sophistication of investors, the significant number of platforms that offer SMAs, and of course, the inherent advantages of the offering.”

“The key characteristic of an SMA is that unlike traditional managed funds clients have beneficial ownership of the underlying assets in the account.

“From this flows potential tax advantages, transparency, flexibility and portability of investor assets.
