DNR Capital’s Australian Emerging Companies Fund has been named a finalist in the Australian Small Cap Equity Fund of the Year category at the Money Management Fund Manager of the Year Awards 2026, run in partnership with Lonsec.

The nomination adds to a run of recognition for the Brisbane-based boutique, which was also shortlisted for the fourth time at the Morningstar Australia Fund Manager of the Year Awards earlier this year in the Australian Equities Small Cap category. The Fund holds a Highly Recommended rating from Lonsec.

The DNR Capital Australian Emerging Companies Fund has delivered an annualised return of 15.55 per cent per annum since its inception in August 2018 (net of fees, as at 30 April 2026), outperforming its S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries benchmark by 10.47 per cent per annum over the same period.
Portfolio managers Sam Twidale and Mark Sedawie run a concentrated portfolio of between 20 and 45 high-conviction positions, constructed through detailed valuation analysis and a focus on exploiting market inefficiencies and mispriced opportunities. The strategy targets companies with strong earnings potential, sound balance sheets, superior industry positions and experienced management teams.
